7 exposures, far out dude! How the heck does that work? Lovely shot though hey. What ND's you use?

Hah yer it's a bit hectic, the colour was really vibrant though so to preserve the tones I had to use a few exposures :P No ND, I'd like one though, f22 for the longish exposure.

Yeah man I suggest GND's for sure, especially for your style. I dig. I'll be getting back into seascapes next week hopefully when my new filters arrive :P

True, I'm gonna get a polarizer first then look into the lee system. It should be sweet to adjust the polarizer then attach the filter holder shouldn't it? I know you can get the lee polarizer but I'm keen on the Hoya HD.

Looking forward to seeing some more work from you :) What new stuff are you getting?

Yeah hoya do a cpl with a filter thread for a holder. I got a slim filter though and it doesn't have a thread. Hoya is cheaper though, and work perfectly if not better. I'm getting hitech gnd's again, cheap and good quality. All my seascapes were captured with them, so that says a lot. Go to teamwork digital and check out the range.

wow, ed that's ridiculously amazing ;)
i was just about to ask the same question about the 7 exposures, whether they were necessary or not. either way what counts is the result and that is really kicks ass :headbang:

I probably could of double processed some shots or cut back a bit but I decided I may as well use the most out of what was recorded, though mind you 2-3 had marginal bits of information included. Thanks a lot Phil! :)

7 Exposures? Doesn't seem necessary since the dynamic width doesn't look that big; but whatever you used for this it sure resulted in one epic sunset photo.

I'd try to curve up the sky. It's not wise to make reflections look brighter than their originals.

Again, very nice work man! Pretty intense sunset/rise. Is that 7 shots or 7 exposures from the same RAW file?

:iconpsyfre:

Cheers George. 7 different shots with no filters, there were 4 just for the sky it was that intense.
