Wonder why I never noticed this shot before. It's quite impressive. The blown out highlights in some of the houses are the only thing one could criticize but it's a very minor flaw and taking the circumstances into consideration I guess stacking multiple exposures was impossible. Also I really love how the surge actually leads the viewers eye to the lighting and the other way around a very nice and closed composition.

Hm, seen it. Although I must admit that I'd adjus the levels of fore and background seperately. I feel like the surge in the foreground has lost some of its impact now. Don't know if you changed it at all though, just assumed.
